Personally, I prefer to use pyenvįor managing my python environments. There are alternative package managers for Python instead of Conda. I also believe it is better practice to make sure your environment is as ‘lean’ as possible, containing only the packages your project directly depends on. Given installing a library is only a ‘pip install’ away, it is easy to use Miniconda and only install libraries as and when you need them.
